Grandpa's Birthday & Program Change?!

Week 6:

Hej Everyone! Last week and the weekend were fun, but very tiring! On Sunday night I got the weeks training schedule for Innebandy(floorball). We had practice Monday-Thursday for 2 hrs each night. I also switched into the Innebandy Training at school (not the program change which I refer to in the title, yet) which means I also had training on Tuesday and Friday for 3 hrs, and Wednesday for 2.5 hrs. This is why my blog took so long to do last week. That was pretty much the excitement of this past week.
Now, to explain about the program change... I have been thinking about switching out of the Music program because I do not find it to be much fun.  The program I am considering switching into is the "Engineering Program". At the school it is the Technique Program (I forgot how it is spelt in Swedish). This program is Maths, Physics and Drafting which is more my thing since I like to use AutoCAD and Google SketchUp! So I would be much happier in it than I am in the Music program! So, that is where things are at with my schooling right now!
Now onto the weekend fun! On Saturday, Tomas and I went to watch Mora IK play. Mora IK is the professional hockey club in northern Dalarna, which is the region which I live in. One thing that is very different is that the arena is very small compared to OHL and NHL rinks (picture posted below) and Mora has a very small Neutral zone but a wide ice surface. In a Swedish hockey game, behind the home team's defensive zone, they have a cheering section for their cheering squad. Let me tell you, they go all out during the game. I did not know that there is that many cheers for a hockey game. The end result was a 3-1 win for Mora, with one empty net goal to seal the deal at the end! When the team scores everyone is on their feet cheering...it is crazy! On Sunday, it was a relaxing day with us just sitting around at home! This allowed me to make the Nilsson's a favourite dip of mine, taco dip.  Asa purchased the ingredients for me and I went to work making it.  I think it is safe to say, it was enjoyed by everyone.  Lastly, on Monday it was Åsa's dad's birthday! When I was done at school I went with Maja and Åsa to his house for a small get together with other family and friends. We had Fika (Coffee/tea and a treat) and I met a lot of Åsa's family. They were all very nice and welcoming.
Well friends, that's all I have for Week 6.  Hopefully, there will be more to come on my next blog! Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
