Dinner with the Stenis Family

Week 8:

Hello Everyone!

Last week was not very entertaining but there was a few highlights. Monday-Thursday were the normal school days and training on two of those nights. So not much excitement. Friday was a bit more entertaining, specifically in the morning. In Mora there is an old water tower and honestly it does not even look like it could hold water even back then so I am still confused by it...but inside this very small space they have created a small rock climbing facility! The '99 Innebandy guys were in a tournament in Umeå, 8 hours north of Mora so they were on the road early Friday morning leaving only 6 people in the Innebandy class for the morning. This allowed us to get to go climbing!  I always enjoy climbing a lot, so it was a fun thing to do even if it was very small facility compared to our climbing walls at home. So that was the fun I had during the week!
Now the weekend came around. Saturday afternoon Maja had an Innebandy game, so Tomas, Åsa and I went to watch her play and her team won 7-2. On Saturday night the Stenis's and I made plans to have supper together since all the kids were home (including Johan), so I wanted to go visit. Inez said she was going to pick me up at 18:00, but 18:02 is when she actually picked me up. Just a quick note, an average Swede is usually on time...but clearly Inez is not an average Swede since she was two minutes late. I was kind of disappointed...but Åsa & Christer's supper made up for it! ;) After supper Inez and her friend left to go to another friend's house (a lot of friends I know). The rest of us went across to the neighbour's for a Music quiz (Johan said it was a music quiz game) but I left before it started...so I kinda missed out on that. But there is a song Johan showed me, if you know the song, "Take me Home, Country Road," it is that melody but they are saying their snowmobile will take them home. It is a comical song...well I think it is good since I do not understand it, but I will soon....hopefully! (I will post the song below).
Sunday was laid back like usual, which ends my summary of week 8 for all of you! Good-bye 'til next week!
