Week 19:
Hello folks! This week was better mainly on the weekend and the title gives you a clue as to why. But I will talk about the week first.
Monday and Tuesday were the normal things I usually do in school and for training. On Wednesday we actually had our training with the ''Personal Trainer'' class. In that class you do multiple sports and you learn about healthy food habits and all that fun stuff. So, during our class with them so we did Zumba I guess it would have been and a few other things. After we did that, our Innebandy class taught little kids how to play Innebandy. We had them play small 4 on 4 games. We started that at 16:00 and we had them play until 16:40 and then for the last 20 min we had Christmas Fika with them. (I think you could call it that.) When I got home, Andreas (one of Maja's friends and also my teammate) messaged me telling me to get to the outdoor rink in Kråkberg. I got Martin's skates and a stick and went to play hockey on the outdoor rink! It was nice to play on it because it is a different atmosphere than always being inside and the ice was pretty good for an outdoor rink! Thursday was a regular day and that night I went to play hockey again since training was cancelled so I felt like doing something. Then Friday morning at Innebandy class we had a girl from Stockholm join us to see if she would come and take the class. We have had a few of these people who come and see if they like the Innebandy. Some of my class actually is not from Mora, they come here for the Innebandy class (This is my understanding).
Saturday during the day Maja worked at her job and Åsa, Tomas, and I went to have lunch there. She works at Zorn Cafe. For all of you that do not know who Anders Zorn is, he was a very famous artist from Mora. They still have his property and original house. He did two paintings of American Presidents and they actually are actually still on display in the White House. I will attach a link to a website about him so you can read more if you would like (click on his name)! To find info on him go to the ''About Us'' and his name will be there! Lastly, on Sunday my Innebandy team had a game against the 2nd place Falun team. We surprisingly managed to win the game. The final score was 8-6 even though on the website it says 7-6. Sunday was also the day I moved over to the Stenis's home for 2 weeks while my host family is in Florida. To recap who the Stenis's are, they are the family of my Swedish brother Johan who spent a year in my home in Canada. I am sure I will be able to share lots of fun stories about my time with them over the Christmas Holidays.
This was all the entertainment of week 19 and I am actually almost half way through my exchange. Time flies when you are having fun!
